There are many ways that you can be involved in making a difference at UCLA. Here are a few of the opportunities:
UCLA Parent & Family Association and Parent Volunteer Opportunities

All parents, legal guardians, and other family members of UCLA undergraduate students are automatically part of the UCLA Parent & Family Association. As a member you will receive monthly e-communication with campus news, updates, and resources, and are invited to participate in the many volunteer opportunities on campus and in the community throughout the year.
Contact UCLA Parent Programs at (310) 794-2359 or e-mail to uclaparents@support.ucla.edu for more information about the UCLA Parent & Family Association, and volunteer opportunities on campus or near where you live.
UCLA Parents’ Council
The UCLA Parents’ Council is the governing body of the UCLA Parent & Family Association and represents the interests of all Bruin parents. Members serve vital roles as ambassadors and advisors for UCLA Parent Programs.
If you are interested in becoming a parent leader or would like to nominate someone for the Parents’ Council, please complete and submit the membership or nomination form. You may also contact the UCLA Parent Programs office at (310) 794-2359 or uclaparents@support.ucla.edu.

How to join UCLA Parents on Facebook
Parent and Family Advocacy
UCLA Government & Community Relations looks to parents and family members to serve as advocates for the University. Bruin Parent Advocates are called upon to take the UCLA message to local, state and federal legislators and agency officials – on a wide range of subjects, and through a variety of communication channels – all in an effort to nurture public support for UCLA’s many important missions.
Contact the UCLA Parent Programs office at (310) 794-2359 or uclaparents@support.ucla.edu to discuss how you can be an advocate.

UCLA Alumni Association
Did you graduate from UCLA and now your son or daughter is following in your footsteps? It is the perfect time for you to reengage with your alma mater now that your student is continuing the family Bruin legacy!
Reconnect with the University by joining the UCLA Alumni Association and rediscover the pride and benefits of being a UCLA degree holder.
Supporting UCLA
Our parents and families understand the need for their financial support through charitable contributions and the huge difference that gifts make in ensuring the quality of the educational experience for their students. Your support via the UCLA Parents’ Fund can enrich programs and services across campus.
A large number of parents support at the Chancellor’s Associates level, which is recognized as making the biggest impact across campus. However, gifts of any size make a difference.
Join our parent community in supporting the UCLA Parents’ Fund and your investment in the promise of UCLA will benefit current students and generations of students to come.
